I chose to make the Spicy Asian Meatball. All of the kids thought it was yummy, except 1.
Even thats ok because she hardly ever eats meat. I did my party as a traveling an online party since everyone I invited decided not to show or forgot. I made little bags up and delivered them to people who actually showed an interest. This was a bigger hit than I thought it would be. Disappointed in those I invited but made up for it with the others!
This dish is so easy to make. The most time consuming part is the rolling of the meatballs and cooking them in the pan.
Ingredients
1 pound. lean ground beef (I used 90%)
2 green onions, chopped (I used 4 heaping tablespoons of garlic powder)
1 egg
½ cup bread crumbs
2 tablespoons Soy Vay® Veri Veri Teriyaki® or Soy Vay® Hoisin Garlic Asian Glaze & Marinade
¼ cup each: Soy Vay® Hoisin Garlic Asian Glaze & Marinade, pineapple juice and tomato juice
2 tablespoons dry sherry or apple juice
1/8 teaspoon each: garlic powder and powdered ginger
Directions
In a medium bowl combine ground beef, onions, egg, bread crumbs, and 2 tablespoons Soy Vay® Veri Veri Teriyaki® or Soy Vay® Hoisin Garlic Asian Glaze & Marinade. Mix well and form into balls. Cook in large skillet until browned on all sides and cooked through. Drain excess fat and set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in a small saucepan; bring to a
boil and reduce heat. Simmer 5 minutes then pour over hot meatballs. Stir well. Serve over white rice.
The USDA recommended safe internal temperature for ground beef is 160°F
I would love to host another Soy Vay party in the future! Or even do another review for them. I was sent this party pack because Im a member of the HouseParty community. All opinions are my own.
