Pear, a different kind of fundraiser for kids K-12!

**This IS NOT a compensated post.**

Maine youth sports teams, school groups and other organizations can stop door-to-door fundraising and bake sales, and visit www.pearup.com/youthgroups to earn money for the things they need. Pear has partnered with national brands, including Ritz Bits, U.S. Cellular and others, to create an easy, efficient, fun and innovative way to get youth groups what they need – in some cases to the tune of $1,000.

Pear makes sponsorship easy for groups and events of all shapes and sizes. Find a sponsor in less than 60 seconds and activate your community to raise up to $1,000 or more toward custom shirts, cash donations, products and services or food and catering from a national brand or local business near you. For more information, visit www.pearup.com.

It is simple, easy to use and best of all FREE!

The part I like best of all is there is NO DOOR TO DOOR! That always makes me nervous! I hate thinking of all the things that could happen with door to door fundraising. and dealing with the checks and cash? Nightmare!!!

Everything is online and Pear deals with it all!

Maine youth groups can earn up to $1,000 from Pear
Pear provides opportunities for local youth sports teams, school groups and more to fundraise online for free

AUGUSTA, Maine – The Butner-Stem Middle School raised $550 by using the sponsorship platform, Pear, for supplies for their first annual Day of Service, an effort to prepare students to be socially prepared to succeed in a global society. Pear, an organization that connects groups in need to national brands willing to sponsor them, has helped thousands of groups just like Butner-Stem throughout the nation get sponsorship dollars toward apparel, donations or even gift cards – all free of charge.

“Fundraising for your child’s soccer team, your students’ field trip or even your high school band can be time-consuming and difficult,” said Jared Golden, Pear’s co-founder. “With Pear, you don’t have to ask anyone for money; you just need their time. It’s a super easy way for groups – like youth groups – to connect with a willing sponsor. From there, it’s an easy and fun process of interacting with the sponsor online to earn dollars. It takes just a few minutes to complete and costs nothing, and has already made an impact for thousands of groups throughout the country.”

Youth group leaders and parents, including any group in support of the K-12 age range in Maine can sign up at www.pearup.com/youthgroups. Once created, groups have 10 days to interact with the brand via the team’s page and harness the power of their community to complete online tasks to earn dollars, including liking their social media pages, signing up for emails, watching a video or completing a survey. The more people who complete those simple online tasks, the more dollars the group earns.
