I used a screwdriver to make the holes on the top and bottom of another, larger stalk to thread the twine I used to hang them.
I also put 2 holes on the straight cut end of each of the shorter stalks for the twine.
The hardest part was threading the twine. If I had a darning needle I would have used it but since I didnt I used a toothpick.
They slid down a bit with a gust of wind, but they sounded nicer on the slant so I have left them that way.
I dont think they turned out so bad for a first try at windchimes!
