As a typical teenager, Travis Freeman (Mark Hapka) is a local hero both on and off the high-school football field in his small Kentucky town, but in 1997, Travis contracts an infection that destroys his optic nerve and renders him blind overnight. With the loving help and concern of his parents, physical therapist, coach and best friend, Travis demonstrates what true bravery is: He continues to compete on the gridiron and helps his team advance to the state finals.

Alot of people say teens are lazy.
Alot say teens have no ambition.
This movie is proof that both of those statements are wrong.
This is the story of a determined young man, who didnt give up and neither did those around him.
I loved watching this with my teenagers. I only got my son to watch because its football. But even he agreed this is a good movie!

When my daughters were in high school, we went to all the football games. So much fun!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't really into football when I was in high school. I do like a good inspirational movie, though.
