Did you know fish and seafood are a natural source of lean protein and important nutrients like vitamins and minerals including iron, zinc and vitamins A,B & D? Living in Maine and fish being a part of our meals since I was a toddler, I did. But if you didn't, now you do!
Heres a few facts about Gortons, in case you didn't know.
~They offer 11 gluten-free varieties of fish including Tilapia, wild-caught Salmon
and Alaskan Pollock.
~The entire line of Gortons has NO artificial flavors and NO MSG!
~Their Grilled Fish is flame grilled and expertly seasoned.
~Their grilled fillets are low-fat, gluten free and 100 calories or less per serving!
My kiddos LOVE the Gortons Fish Sticks, Crispy Battered Portions and the Lemon Pepper Portions. Add tarter sauce and Mac & Cheese and there are happy campers in the Daigle house! I have been eating Gortons since I was a kid so I know that the products taste the same now as they did then and to me that's a great thing!
Below you can see a picture of what I was sent for my review.
Because Im starting an "Altered Eating Plan" I chose to get the kids the fishsticks and prepare the Simply Bake for myself and my hubby. The pictures show what it looks like. The foil packets make baking and clean up a cinch. These would be perfect for a dinner of 2. Im a basics and simple type cook so this was perfect and easy for me to prepare. And the fact that it tastes so good was a plus! It had a tad of a punch in the aftertaste but combined with the rice, it was perfect! The portions were just the right size for one serving, I did weigh it.
