Living in Central Maine, there is limited sun exposure not only in the winter but the summer as well! But to me that really doesn't make a difference because according to the family I am snow glow white! I will admit with my Irish/Scottish heritage I am prone to be very pale. This opens like a towelette you would use to clean off your hands. I started with only applying it to one arm and my chest. There was only a soft smell and it went on smooth. It didn't feel greasy or sticky. Unlike like other self tanners, this one didn't feel weighty on my arm it didn't feel like there was any tanner on it! After about 10 min I felt my arm, it was dry and there was only a small hint of a scent left. I really liked that! 

It did streak a little tho but I believe it was my fault. Ive never been good at applying that stuff anyway. It did give me a light color on my face so I dont think I need a foundation for a few days. Other than the self made streaks I like it!
