I was sent a bottle of Purex No Sort to do my review. My opinions are, as always, my own.
Im not a sorter. I was a years ago, before 7 kids. But now I guess Im too busy to do it! If hubby separates the clothes it gets done. But I like to throw it all in together and take the risk! I did that a year or so ago and accidently put my daughter karate GI in with a blue tshirt. OOPS! Its still got a blue tint even tho I have bleached it several times.
That's why I was so happy to get this no sort from Purex.
Purex® No Sort™ detergent features a breakthrough Anti-Color-Transfer Technology™ which traps loose dyes in the wash, and prevents them from settling onto other fabrics—leaving your clothes bright and clean without color bleeding accidents.
"Purex® No Sort™ detergent is packed with innovation, but it can’t perform miracles, so please follow these words of advice: wash strongly colored fabrics or new pieces of clothing, especially jeans, separately at least 5 times before doing a mixed color load with Purex® No Sort™ detergent." From the Purex website.

When washing your colors, dyes can often bleed, or transfer, from your darker colored garments onto the lighter ones in the wash. Purex's new Anti-Color-Transfer Technology™, exclusive to Purex® No Sort™ for Colors, traps loose dyes in the wash, and does not let them settle onto other fabrics. When your wash cycle finishes, the trapped dye is simply washed down the drain along with the water – leaving your clothes bright and clean.

I recently washed our laundry, forgetting to check the pockets and there was an ink pen in there that ruined my nephews shirt
ReplyDeleteOnce, long ago, something red and new got mixed in with a load of whites. Everything came out very pinkish!

I let a pack of gum go through washer and into the dryer. Once in the dryer it came of of the pocket and got stuck all over the inside of the dryer.
ReplyDeleteI wear a dark maroon shirt at work and one day, I put one of these new shirts with some of my light clothes and ruined some of the light clothes as they came out blotchy with pink. I would love to see how well this works.
ReplyDeleteMy personal laundry nemesis was a small bottle of bright purple nail polish. Daughter left it in the pocket of her white, yes WHITE shorts...it made it all the way to the dryer, where it exploded and rained pretty purple all over everything. It was a nasty mess!
ReplyDeleteMy biggest mistake was not checking my grandson's pockets and ruining a whole load of laundry when an ink pen exploded in the wash.
ReplyDeleteWhen my son left an ink pen in his pocket and I didn't find it till after ink was all over.
ReplyDeleteMy biggest mistake is not checking pockets before throwing laundry in the washer. I have washed chap stick, ink pens, gum and it makes a huge mess!
ReplyDeletemy biggest boo boo was washing and drying clothes with crayons in the pockets. the wax stained everything.
ReplyDeleteNot checking pockets!
ReplyDeleteNot checking pockets - it takes a LOT of elbow grease to clean an entire pack of Juicy Fruit off dryer walls!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to say putting in a pair of red shorts that faded all over the entire load of laundry and having to rewash the whole load (minus the shorts) three times to get them clean.
