Why do I love being a Purex Insider?
Because I get to try out awesome products like Fels-Naptha Laundy bar!
Fels-Naptha is a powerful laundry bar that works overtime to remove greasy, oily stains, perspiration, and ring-around-the-collar. With over 100 years of removing America’s stains, you can rest assured that this laundry bar knows how to attack your tough stains.
All you have to do is rub the stain with a wet bar of Fels-Naptha and let it sit for a few minutes. Then wash your clothes as you normally would and say farewell to tough stains for good. Simple!!
Previously I blogged about using Fels-Naptha in my homemade laundry detergent. Here is a bit of that post.
Combining the 3 makes a really nice laundry detergent. And it only uses 1 tablespoon per normal load even in he washers.
You can use it to pre treat spots as well. Just wet the bar, rub into the
spot or stain and let set for a few minutes. Then was as normal. Easy!!!

What works best for me is to rub a small amount of my homemade liquid detergent on any stain. Let it soak in for a minute or two them throw it in the washer. Since the homemade detergent has this (Fels Naptha) and Borax it's a pretty effective combination!!

My tip is to treat a stain as soon as possible and to apply treatment and let it sit awhile in order to work.

My best spot removal trick is to use a product called "Spray Power" by Crown. I spray the spot, roll it up in a towel to keep it damp, and launder the next day. Stains gone. Would love to try this soap as a spot remover.
