Snickerdoodle Cake with Vanilla Topping

 

SNICKERDOODLE CAKE WITH

VANILLA  WHIPPED TOPPING

 

 

CAKE:

 

1 cup flour                          1 tsp cinnamon

1 cup sugar                         2 tsp baking powder

1/4 cup melted butter        1/2 cup milk

1 egg

 

Pre  heat oven to 400F

 

Sift flour and combine all the dry ingredients in a med. sized bowl.

 

Mix wet ingredients separately.

 

Then combine both mixtures and mix well. By hand or mixer. I used mixer.

 

Bake in a buttered 8" pan (or your pan choice) for 20 - 30 min. I cooked it until a tooth pick came out clean.

 

Cool completely.

 

 

Vanilla Whipped Topping:

 

1 CUP HEAVY CREAM

1/4 CUP CONFECTIONERS SUGAR

1 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT

 

Combine all in a medium bown and beat with beaters until stiff peaks form. Refridgerate.
